Food for thought, indeed
Come to South Bank’s Arbour at lunchtime to hear artists discuss Bricks and Mortar – a collaboration between South Bank Corporation and Queensland Centre of Photography (QCP) – the latest outdoor exhibition in the Parklands.
Bricks and Mortar showcases work from 7 photographic artists and visually addresses Queensland’s rapid urban transformation.
Visitors are invited to bring their lunch and relax in the Parklands, while taking on food for thought about the exhibition’s deeper messages regarding urban development and its affect on the natural world.
Once a week, selected artists will walk and talk visitors through their exhibition pieces discussing techniques, ideas behind the work and their art practice.
